National Parks of Taiwan

The Taijiang poetry picture book Singing This Song to the Sea and best-selling children's author Liao Bing-kun once again collaborated to create a new musical poetry collection. Words and images are strung together to form beautiful melodies full of lyricism, where the stories of Taijiang over the past four centuries are retold through music. This work has been recognized as the Best Children's Book of the Year in the 2023 Good Books for Everyone awards.

According to the Taijiang National Park Headquarters, for children to learn more about the natural environment and cultural history of Taijiang in a fun and accessible manner, a variety of excellent picture books with different themes have been published over the years—highly acclaimed by readers and winners of numerous national awards. This poetry picture book breaks away from convention by innovatively combining poetry, images, and music to narrate the story of the sea, the land, and the people in the form of songs.
