Join the Wuling eco-tour in Shei-Pa National Park

Shei-Pa National Park organizes a two-day ecological tour in the park’s Wuling Recreation Area to lead visitors into the beauty of nature. The tour, scheduled from March 25 to 26 includes a walk along Taoshan Waterfall, outdoor Jazz concerts, opening Taiwan Salmon Eco Center and eco-tour of Cijiawan Creek. Wuling Recreation Area located in the center of Taiwan is a valley surrounded by Syue Mountain Range. The mountain trail through it is the shortest path to climb Syue Mountain. The Cijiawan Creek flowing through the valley is notedly famous for Taiwan salmon, also known as Formosan landlocked salmon. By the river there is a best spot for visitors to stop and watch Taiwan salmon. Besides the valuable species of Taiwan salmon, Mandarin duck can be seen along Cijiawan Creek and Yousheng Creek. Along the trial starting from Wuling Visitor Center, birds’ chirping comes in all directions; at the end of trial, a waterfall runs from a mountain. Every breath of air saturated with phytoncide and negative ion emitted from the wood and water refresh every visitor’s body and mind. During this tour, participants will be invited to plant trees as a way to preserve the inhibiting area of Taiwan salmon.
