Yushan National Park adjusts the carrying capacity

Yushan National Park Headquarters will adjust the carrying capacity of every campground and cabin in the park from April 1st. As a popular tour area, Yushan National Park is famous for its awesome mountainous scenery. While most hiking trails are located in ecological protected areas, the Headquarters has implemented a limit on number of visitors to balance its duties of managing tourism and preserving nature.
In these years, the Headquarters has received opinions from visitors that some cabins and campground were too crowded. From April 1st, the Headquarters will adjust the carrying capacity to provide superior service to every visitor.

  1. Guangao Cabin: Accommodation in ordinary days has been reduced form 50 to 32 people.
  2. Banaiyike Campground: Accommodation have been reduced from 20 to 12 people.
  3. Baiyang Mine Cabin: The accommodation of cabin has been reduced from 16 to 12; The campground in ordinary days is reduced from 14 to 12 people.
  4. Baoyai Campground : The accommodation in ordinary days is reduced from 16 to 8 people.
  5. Dafen Campground: four more allowed in ordinary days.
  6. Kuhanuosin Campground: adding 12 access to its holiday accommodation.

The accommodation in others campground and cabins are regulated to 24 people as a reasonable way to provide higher lodging quality.For details, please check the lodging site list of Yushan National Park.
