The Kinmen County Government and the county council of the Youth Corps jointly sponsored the “Narration Seminar for High School Students” on the 5th of May, 2007 (Saturday). The event held at the Audio-Visual Room 2 of the Chung Shan Forest tourist service center of National Kinmen Park was meant to encourage students of the area to learn more about natural resources, local culture, and important aspects of the national park.

The seminar included humanistic legacy, battle history and artifacts, and Kinmen’s bird and plant ecology. The organizers hoped that the seminar would help everyone appreciate their environment, help enhance their ability to explain that environment to others, cultivate the seeds of an environmental education, and promote ecological conservation.
