Construction work on the Central Cross-Island Highway’s Jhuilu Tunnel
Travelers are advised of construction work on the Central Cross-Island Highway’s Jhuilu Tunnel
The Directorate-General of Highways-Luoshao section announced that construction work has begun on the 177K+320~177K+500 section of the Jhuilu Tunnel along the Central Cross-Island Highway. Traffic along that route will be controlled.
During construction work from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., passage will be allowed for 10 minutes every hour on the hour. From 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. the next day, passage will be allowed for 10 minutes every 2 hours on even hours. These controls do not apply on weekends and national holidays. Construction will be completed on February 17, 2008. Please pay close attention to roadside signs and traffic control personnel signals.
