Environmental education during the Yushan Formosan Macaque Festival

To promote a better understanding among visitors of Yushan National Park and the Formosan Macaque（Macaca cyclopis）ecology along the New Central Cross-Island Highway, Tataka Station will host the Formosan Macaque Festival environmental education activity from February to June. To teach the general public about the habitat and habits of wild Formosan Macaques and allow them to understand the importance of not feeding wild animals, the Yushan National Park’s Tataka Visitor Center and Shihshan Interpretation Station will present a photo and video exhibition on Formosan Macaque ecology.
