The beauty of Taiwan—National Park Special Exhibition opened in Kaohsiung on April 19

The Construction and Planning Agency, Ministry of the Interior has established Kending, Yushan, Yangmingshan, Taroko, Shei-pa, Kinmen and Dongsha Marine National Park over the last 25 years. Guided by conservation policies, these seven national parks have become a genuine window on the “beauty of Taiwan”.  To give the public a better understanding of the beauty of the national parks of Taiwan, the CPAMI has, in conjunction with park headquarters, National Taiwan Museum (台博館) and National Museum of Natural Science (科博館), have planned a one-year long “Beauty of Taiwan” 「國土之美的櫥窗」 touring special exhibition. The first venue is Dreamall in Kaohsiung (高雄夢時代購物中心), where the exhibition opened on April 19. The exhibition will later move to Taijhong’s National Museum of Natural Science and Taipei’s National Taiwan Museum and continues until April 30, 2009.
