The Images of Taiwan-Formosan Landlocked Salmon and Shei-Pa Panorama Exhibition

The Images of Taiwan -Formosan Landlocked Salmon (Oncorhynchus masou formosanus櫻花鉤吻鮭) and Shei-Pa Panorama Exhibition (雪霸百景藝術創作展) organized by Shei-pa National Park Headquarters and implemented by National Taiwan Normal University’s Cultural & Creative Industries Center opened on April 25 in National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall (Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall/國立臺灣民主紀念館-中正紀念堂) and will run until May 30. This activity invited water color, oil paint, craft, design and photographic artists to participate and 125 of their works are exhibited in the exhibition, the venue for which is the First Exhibition Hall. Members of the public are welcome to view the exhibition which is open from 9am to 6pm daily.

Shei-pa National Park Director Lin Ching said Shei-pa has a difference in elevation of over 3000 meters from mountain peaks to river gorges, having beautiful and diverse scenery and different eco-systems depending on weather conditions. By the combining ecology and art this time, the aim is to provide a panoramic view of the park’s numerous spectacular sights, allowing more people to appreciate the beauty of nature and thus cherish natural resources more.

Moreover, to stimulate theme- based creativity, poster, art, graphic design, water color art and eco-art associations in Taiwan were invited to cooperate in developing creative products to fully show thce:Shei-pa National Park Headquarters
