The Sinsing to Erbensong section of Syuejian Recreation Area’s Simasian connecting forest road is closed for road work from May 26, 2008

From May 26 to July 15, the Sinsing to Erbensong section of Syuejian Recreation Area’s Simasian connecting forest road in Shei-pa National Park will be closed for roadwork. The road will be completely closed during construction and visitors wanting to go to Syuejian are requested to take an alternative route. The alternative route is: take Miaoli County Road 58 from Jhuolan in Miaoli County to Baibufan Bridge, then Taichung County road 47 to Daguan, Taoshan and Siangbi Village, then the Simasian forest road to Syuejian.

During construction work, the road will be completely closed to ensure public safety.
A “road closed” warning sign will be placed in front of Dahu Middle School in Miaoli County and visitors are asked to proceed to Syuejian via Jhuolan. The park HQ will place direction signs at major intersections on the alternative route to guide visitors.
