Visitors requested to cooperate with Siaoyoukeng traffic controls

The 17th Yangmingshan National Park Cup Road Race”(第17屆陽明山國家公園盃路跑賽), jointly organized by Yangmingshan National Park and Chinese Taipei Road Running Association will start from the car park of Siaoyoukeng Recreation Area (小油坑遊憩區) at 7am on July 6, 2008. To allow the race to proceed smoothly, Siaoyoukeng car park and the section of Yangjin Highway(陽金公路) near Siaoguanyin (小觀音站) will be subject to traffic controls with which passing vehicles and visitors are asked to cooperate.

1.From 9pm on July 5 to 11am on July 6, Siaoyoukeng car park will be subject to traffic controls and all vehicles without a race pass will not be allowed to enter. Competitors are requested to travel to the site on the special buses using the voucher provided by the race organizers.
2. From 5 am to 11 am on the day of the race, the section of the Yangjin Highway near Siaoguanyin, part of the race course, will be partially subject to traffic controls and road side parking will be prohibited. Visitors are asked to avoid this section of road as much as possible. Passing vehicles should slow down and obey traffic police instructions. The No. 108 park bus and No. 9 shuttle will temporarily not be allowed into the Siaoyoukeng car park.
