The CPA is delighted to cooperate with internationally-renowned National Geographic Channel in the production of four 30-second promotional films—“Forest plants”, “Alpine landscape”, “Culture and History”, and “Ocean and Island” in four languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean and English). The films will be broadcast in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, Europe and Africa.
The National Geographic Channel film crew filmed in Kenting, Yushan, Taroko, Shei-pa and Dongsha national parks from May 14 to 26. Filming and initial editing work has been completed. The CPA plans to complete review work before August 15 and broadcast the films all over the world on September 11.
It is hoped that through these four 30-second films made by highly-skilled foreign director, the natural and cultural landscape of Taiwan’s national parks will be shown in the four corners of the earth.
