Yangmingshan National Park Visitor Center’s Round Theater has opened and is showing the hi-definition film “Reading Yangming’s Scenery”
To make the contents of the Yangmingshan National Park Visitor Center’s displays more diverse, the original space has been renovated in recent years and visitors are now presented with new display contents and display space. To expand display space, the visitor center’s lobby has been turned into a round display space with a 126 seat (including four wheelchair spaces) round theater.
The park headquarters has made a film- “Reading Yangming’s Scenery 陽明讀景”- which began showing in the round theater at the beginning of December. It is a high-definition multi-media film with a high-quality picture. The film focuses on the park’s special geographical location and ecology, with “Datun volcano group—Volcanic geology” and “The effect of the northeast seasonal winds” as the main themes. The film is around 25 minutes long and focuses on recreational spots in the park that visitors will be familiar with and, from an ecological angle, looks at the chain of relationships in the ecology of Yangmingshan. Visitors will learn that the places they passed through before with only a superficial understanding have many interesting ecological stories that are not well known.
