Connecting with the ancestral spirit rainbow──Atayal Women’s Bead Threading Course Results Exhibition

From January 20 to March 31 Shei-pa National Park Headquarters is holding the Atayal Women’s Bead Threading Course Results Special Exhibition in the Special Exhibition Room on the second floor of Wenshui Visitor Center. Interested members of the public are welcome to view the exhibition.

For this exhibition a number of women in Tai-an Rural Township who are lovers of bead threading were enlisted to make a contribution to the preservation of Tai-an Rural Township culture. Colored glaze bead threading is the oldest and most attractive part of colored glaze art. The works in this exhibition are the product of the joint efforts of people from various social groups and each is hand made. Each of the more than 50 large works and over 100 small works on display is unique. Interested members of the public are warmly invited to experience the beauty of bead threading.
