“Maobitou Geography Classroom”geology and topography observation activity in Kenting National Park
Maobitou park is a special scenic area in Kenting National Park and has typical collapsed cliff terrain. Weathering and battering by ocean waves over many years has left natural scenery including huge collapsed coral reefs, sea eroded ditches, sea eroded caves and stacks. To allow the public to acquire an understanding of the geology of Kenting National Park and experience its beauty close up, the park headquarters has organized this guided environmental education activity.
Interested people are requested to register on-line or phone and ask an interpreter to register on their behalf. Participants should report in at 9 am in Maobitou Visitor Center. Children need to be accompanied by an adult.
