The limit on the number of people allowed on Shei-pa National Park’s Daba climbing route has been increased to 100 per day

The original daily limit on climbers on the Daba route was increased from 48 to 100 per day from October 1. Climbers can chose to camp at Madara Creek (Madara River) trailhead camp site or stay in the Forestry Bureau’s Jioujiou Cabin(99 Cabin九九山莊). Please phone 886-037-272913 or886-037-272917 for more information. Also, recently climbers have been injured when they have become fatigued because their schedule was too tight. Climbing parties are asked to plan their climbing schedule in accordance with the physical ability of all members to prevent such unfortunate incidents occurring.
