Kenting National Park reiterates its determination to stamp out unauthorized music events
Kenting has two venues for which applications can be made for the holding of outdoor music events as part of the Kenting spring music festival under the park HQ’s “open, managed” policy: Eluanbi Park and Maobitou Park. This year two companies have been awarded the right to organize the festival’s outdoor music events.
Those who breach related regulations and hold music events outside these designated venues and without permission will be closed down under the National Park Act. When efforts to persuade the organizers to close down the event voluntarily fail their equipment will be forcibly dismantled if necessary. The park HQ calls on people not to violate the law.
