The Yushan main peak route (above Paiyun Cabin) has suffered heavy snowfall in recent days. For safety reasons the national park headquarters temporarily closed the route to ordinary climbers from 5pm on April 30.

Holders of park entry permits must turn around at Paiyun Cabin during the period the route is closed beyond the shelter. For return of money already paid for Paiyun Cabin accommodation please apply to the park headquarters with the required documents in the near future. Any inconvenience is regretted.

The national park headquarters called on climbers to pay special attention to keeping warm and dry, watch out for falling rocks and take extra care while climbing during the rainy season.
