“Our common future—national parks” DVD
Over the years the CPA has established eight national parks in total, each having a key role in nature conservation and allowing the natural cycle of life to continue. As times change, the world getting warmer, climate change and biodiversity are major issues of the 21st century. The national park’s are of vital importance for the preservation of and research into ecosystems and biodiversity. Today’s substantial conservation efforts have only been achieved with the joint efforts of experts and scholars, park managers, local community partners and volunteers.
Filmed in high definition, “Our common future—national parks” DVD is a true record of the long-term conservation, research and interpretation work carried out in Taiwan’s national parks, the spirit of the scientists in various ecological fields and the confident expressions of the interpreters showing how the vibrant vitality of Taiwan is continually protecting the land and our common future and, by showing the precious wonders of nature, aiming to attract young people to join in the conservation effort.
