Series of activities to welcome black-faced spoonbills organized by Taijiang National Park Headquarters kicks off
Taijiang National Park Headquarters has organized a series of activities to welcome these rare visitors, expected to arrive soon, to spread the conservation message that is the core value of national parks. The activity series is intended, through environmental interpretation and eco-tourism, to give visitors an in-depth understanding of Taijiang’s migratory birds and their habitat to spread the message of the importance of biodiversity and wetlands preservation.A series of activities are planned by the park headquarters for the peak bird watching season from October 1,2010 to March 31, 2011, activities including Taijing National Park literature season, young surveyor, environmental education, exploring the connection between migratory birds and aquaculture, black-faced spoonbill painting and other diverse and interesting activities.
