Yushan National Park Headquarters has actively promoted Yushan’s participation in the New Seven Wonders vote organized by Switzerland’s New Seven Wonders Organization.

At present, Yushan is still out of the top 14 and needs more votes from the public. To encourage people from all walks of life in Taiwan to cast a New Seven Wonders vote for Yushan, on November 10 the park headquarters held the premiere of a documentary about Yushan’s ecology at Taipei Spot. After the showing, the first computerized raffle, the fairness of which was witnessed by a notary public, with proceedings also recorded, was held in which people who had cast an online vote for Yushan were entered as a show of thanks for their support. The national park headquarters said that it will make every effort to put Yushan on the international stage again in the final stages of the New Seven Wonders vote, allowing the people of the world to see Yushan’s unique ecology and cultural beauty.
