Interaction between Taiwan’s Yushan and Israel’s Dead Sea to Participate in Seven Wonders of the World

On August 30th, 2011, the Israel Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei (ISECO) paid a visit to the Yushan National Park Tourist Center for further discussion on the possibility of collaborative participation in the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. You Deng-Liang, Director of Yushan National Park, and Simona Halperin, Representative of ISECO, arrived at the site to publicly cast a precious vote for the Dead Sea and Yushan, thereby taking the first step in the beginning of this collaboration. Yushan and the Dead Sea are competing in the “Seven Wonders of the World” as Asia’s tallest mountain and the world’s lowest sea. Both groups wish to strengthen their partnership in working together toward the protection of the world.
