The Marine National Park Headquarters (MNPH) will host research finding presentations on October 5th, 9th and 11th, 2012, at Kaohsiung's Sun-Yat-Sen University, Taichung's National Chung-Hsing University, and at Taipei's National Taiwan University. The MNPH will share with the public the research findings on coral reef ecology, cultural heritage and geographical terrain of the past 5 years from the Dongsha Atoll National Park and the potential Marine National Parks (The Northern 3 Islets and the Penghu Southern 4 islets). The presentations will take place in 3 areas, each with a different theme: the Kaohsiung session will focus on the Dongsha marine environment and Penghu Southern 4 islets; the Taichung session will be on the terrestrial environment of the Dongsha islands, and the Taipei session will focus on the coral reef ecology of the Dongsha region and the Northern 3 Islets. These events will allow the public the chance to explore these otherwise inaccessible islands paradises, experience the natural beauty of Taiwan's marine environments, and marvel at the dynamic rhythms of marine organisms in their struggle to survive.
