CAPMI launches the 2011 National Parks Public Facilities Energy-Saving Project and the result is obvious

National parks are treasuries of the nation's precious natural resources and cultural heritage, safeguarding the development of the past, present, and future of this land. Since the National Park Act was officially legislated in 1972, eight national parks have been successively established; Kenting, Yushan, Yangmingshan, Taroko, Shei-Pa, Kinmen, Dongsha Atoll, and Taijiang National Parks. From mountains to hills, from plains to the ocean, a complete conservation belt safeguards the nation's vibrant lives and biodiversity and presents to international society the beauty of the land. The "National Parks Public Facilities Energy-Saving Project" advocates integrating energy-saving and low carbon emission design into the public facilities right from the initial planning stage. Spreading from a point to a line and into a dimension, the consultation team took action to implement this concept in the national parks, showing our respect for the environment and determination to reduce negative environmental factors.
