Taijiang National Park makes an overall change activates the community development and ecology preservation campaign.

Taijiang National Park hosted the "Xiangong Community Ecology Pool Program Workshop" from November 12th to 16th 2012. This workshop is focused on three subjects: youth development, community development, and mural art, and the goals are set to build a community ecology pool and the Smile Community Plaza through consolidating the local resources. The New Taiwan Mural Troop (Lama Moltis, Chiao Sheng-Wei, and Chen Yan-Ming) and the resident artists of Qiaotou Guide by Wood International Art Village were invited to paint the community with the images of their shared memories based on the Sanjiao Jipu Festival and the Luermen Gate to Natural Ecology. The community residents became art critics involved in the process of the development of public art. Students of the local Xiangong Elementary School were also invited to participate in the mural painting project. The children painted the wall with water guns loaded with colorful paint. The community was filled with smiles in the interactive classes and these smiles will be the source of energy for the Smile Community Plaza.
