Taroko National Park joined volunteers to advocate the “Homeland Restoration and Eliminating Intruding Plants” and the “Carry One More Kilogram to Hualien” campaigns.
In this autumn, Taroko National Park invited experienced environment and social service volunteers to lead in the "Homeland Restoration and Eliminating Intruding Plants" campaign in an effort to preserve biodiversity and slow down global warming. This campaign calls on the public to serve the responsibilities as a citizen of the global village and guard the land that has provided us with food and shelter. In the "Carry One More Kilogram to Hualien" campaign held in conjunction with the annual environmental protection event, the volunteers came forward to collect secondhand books and other donations for the disadvantaged children in the remote areas. In the campaigns, Taroko National Park vouched to continue the campaigns for environmental awareness and called on the attention of the public with the following message, "Please do not bring in foreign species or carelessly disregard garden plants; let's do our part together for the health of our environment."
