Taroko National Park Headquarters invited volunteers to join in the works of environmental conservation and care for disadvantaged groups.

Taroko National Park Headquarters invited volunteers experienced in conservation and community care to join the staff in this year’s “Spring Cleaning in the Mountains for Invaded Plants” event on a warm and pleasing weekend afternoon in the spring. The organizer of this event also called for donation of second hand books to the rural villages. The enthusiasm and goodwill of the volunteers warmed up the event in an instant. This year’s spring cleaning event was focused on the mountain areas of Lianhua Pond and along the industrial road near Meiyuan and Zhucun. Volunteers from areas outside of the community joined volunteers of Taroko National Park to clean the mountains and help disadvantaged children. This group of admirable volunteers takes actions to care for society and helps disadvantaged children on a regular basis. The Taroko National Park Headquarters is dedicated to conservation of the mountain ecology through continuous efforts to protect the forests and hills from pollution. We call on the public to do their part for the environment by reframing themselves from disposing trash or waste or bringing foreign or garden plants into the mountains.
