2013 Middle School Student Biodiversity Workshop at Kinmen National Park Now Open for Registration

The Kinmen National Park Headquarters is hosting the 2013 Middle School Student Biodiversity Workshop on August 31 and September 1. The workshop is intended for middle school students from National Kinmen Senior High School and National Kinmen Agricultural & Industrial Vocational Senior High School. Ninety upcoming sophomores and juniors with an interest in biodiversity will be studying at the Kinmen National Park Headquarters Visitor Center No. 1 Auditorium.

Kinmen National Park Headquarters hopes to instill an appreciation of biodiversity issues in students as well as offer a better understanding of ecological resources and environmental change through the use of hands-on activities. Through their experiences, students will learn to respect all life forms and learn to share ecological resources.

Registration is open from now until July 31! All Kinmen National Senior High School students who are interested in the workshop are encouraged to sign up.

Students who participated in and finished the workshop are required to turn in a workshop experience report of at least 1,000 Chinese characters. The headquarters will issue each participant a workshop completion certificate and a prize as a token of encouragement.
