Come to Kenting for the "Insect Carnival"!
Kenting National Park boasts diverse terrain and a large variety of wildlife. There are 1,238 different plant species and many insect species living amongst these plants. Visitors can spot insects flying or wandering around flowers or tree trunks in the forest. This year, we will be hosting a livelier event as per request to help the public better understand insect ecology and its role in nature. There will be games, observation of live insects, and DIY activities such as weaving insects out of grass and coloring insect masks. Anyone interested is encouraged to register.
Interested parties can register online on the Kenting National Park Headquarters from now until August 27, 2013. The number of participants is limited to 40 and registration will be closed once slots are filled. Come enjoy this year's Insect Carnival at Kenting!
