The carnival for celebrating the 13th anniversary of Taichung Metropolitan Park will be held on October 27, 2013. The celebrated Chio-tian Folk Drums & Art Troupe have been invited to perform at the opening ceremony, and will present a magnificent drum performance at the Sundial Square at 9:30 am. There will be various activities after the opening ceremony.

The activities include students' performance, "Love, Performance"; a creative DIY activity led by student clubs, "Art DIY"; an activity about making prepared food for Hueming Visual Impairment Protectory , "Making Benevolent Meals & Charity Sale"; "The Swap Meet: In Exchange of Happiness"; "Receipt Collection & Adoption of Strays" and "The Charity Sale of Paintings by People with Spinal Cord Injuries." There will be a trivia game and an interesting interactive game at the last activity, "Social Participation-Anti-Corruption," to promote the fight against corruption.
