MNPH 6th Anniversary Marine Conservation Achievement Workshop invites you to safeguard the ocean together with us!

At 9:00 a.m., 4 October 2013, Marine National Park Headquarters (MNPH) will hold the MNPH 6th Anniversary and Marine Conservation Achievement Workshop in Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park. Citizens are welcome to join us.
It has been six years now since the MNPH began the administration of the Dongsha Atoll National Park and planning of other potential marine national parks. Over the past six year, MNPH has successfully conserved and restored the Dongsha Atoll National Park. During the coming anniversary celebration, the MNPH will share its achievements in marine conservation with the public, the vision of Dongsha International Research Station, and its experience in promoting the southern four islands in Penghu into national parks.

In addition, to expand marine conservation education, the MNPH will continue its past cooperation with the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium and the Kaohsiung City Marine Bureau. This year, the MNPH launched its cooperation with the National Taiwan Museum in different kinds of exchange and talent cultivation to promote ecology and environmental education. In addition, to encourage citizens to read, the MNPH will sell the Marine Conservation Series during the event at 40% off. Each citizen can buy up to three sets.

The Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park is located at No. 24, Demin Road, Nanzi District, Kaohsiung City. Citizens can take the Kaohsiung Metro to the Metropolitan Park Station (R21). After exiting the station from Exit 4, walk for about 10 minutes to reach the park
