Taroko National Park and Tienhsiang Youth Activity Center Co-host the Cross-Island Highway Leaf Peeping Activities
In order to promote national park conservation and environmental education, Taroko National Park and the Tienhsiang Youth Activity Center have organized the “Cross-Island Highway Leaf Peeping Activities” to be hosted from November 30 to December 1, 2013. Activities include the pioneering history of the Central Cross-Island Highway, foliage viewing activities, mid-elevation forest ecological observations, canyon landscapes, etc. All activities will be led by Taroko National Park guides with full-length commentaries.
Registration is from October 1 to October 22. Participants are required to pay NT$2,500, which includes transportation, accommodations and insurance. Only 36 spaces are available for each tier and registration is on a first-come first-serve basis.
