The section of road on Taiwu Mountain between the Yujhang Road Honorific Arch and

Pingtung Road

was transferred into the administrative region of the Kinmen National Park Administration Office on November 1, 2013. Notices have been placed to announce the jurisdiction change (Ying Kin You No. 1020012586, October 31, 2013). The section is a one-way road reaching from Yujhang Road Honorific Arch, passing through Haiyin Temple, and ending at the Pingtung Community Center. Vehicles are not allowed to travel against traffic (in the direction from the Pingtung community center to the Honorific Arch).

This area is part of the hiking trails (previously battle-prepped trails) of Taiwu Mountain. In consideration of the preservation and safety of resources and facilities on Taiwu Mountain, cars without permits are prohibited, and motorcycles and bicycles are strictly forbidden. Car permits for travel on Taiwu Mountain certified by the Kinmen Defense Command will be considered valid until December 31, 2013.
