Sponsored by the Construction and Planning Agency of the Ministry of the Interior, and co-organized by the National Taichung University of Science and Technology, the “National-Park-Themed Lesson Plans in Environmental Education” contest received over a hundred submissions during its 4-month call for articles. After the careful selection process, 10 distinguished lesson plans and 23 excellent lesson plans were finally selected. The award and opening ceremonies of the tour exhibition were held at Yangmingshan National Park on Friday, November 29^th, 2013. Various activities were held during the event, such as the award ceremonies, lesson plan sharing, interaction, and observation, and the guided tour. It is hoped that the event’s environmental education and environmental protection concepts can begin to take root.
