Taroko National Park held the “Painting glass –Bottle painting exhibition” in the special exhibition hall of the touristcenter. This exhibition shows works of Miss Chung Chin-Mei, or Labay Bole inher indigenous language. She is from the Taroko tribe’s Tongmen settlement inHualien, and began learning to paint in 2009. While she was studying painting,she often came across discarded glass bottles and began painting on thebottles, promoting the environmental protection concept of recycling. A totalof 37 works are displayed in this exhibition, which will be held from March 26thto May 25th, 2014. Taroko National Park invites citizens to see theexhibition and experience new aesthetic ideas for environmental protection.
