Taroko tribal culture DIY, music, dance, weaving- Good sounds, good things to see, good fun

The Taroko Tribal Music Festival and Cultural Market have been held in the national park for many years, giving visitors an opportunity to get to know the culture of the Taroko tribe through appreciating music and dance, and are very popular. This year Taroko National Park Headquarters will hold a Taroko tribal weaving, music and dance experience activity in coordination with the music festival so you won’t just listen and look, you will actually be able to experience the beauty of Taroko tribal culture DIY style.

This experience activity will be held in five sessions on April 12, May 10, June 14, September 13 and November 8, respectively, from 2:30 pm to 4:30pm. Each session will include bracelet weaving, pencil doll and flute making, and traditional Taroko tribal music and dance culture and instrument interpretaion and experience classes; traditional Taroko tribal handicraft, music and dance experts will serve as teachers. Participants completing the full course will receive an environmental education hours certificate.

This experience activity is free, but registration is required in advance. The maximum number of people accepted for each session is 30. If the number of registered participants is less than 15 or there is a typhoon or heavy rain on the day, the activity will be cancelled.
