As nectar plans, such as Eupatoriumshimadai, bloom between May and July every year, blue tiger butterflies andpurple crow butterflies travel to Datun Mountain. Yangmingshan National ParkHeadquarters organized a series of activities, including Butterfly SeasonConcert, Datun LOHAS Butterfly Watching, Butterfly Ecology Special Exhibition,and Butterfly Season Speeches, from May31st to July 31st, so that visitors can see the beautifulscenery of butterflies in Yangmingshan and have a romantic encounter withbutterflies in nature.
