The lighting equipment in Lieyu Jiugong Tunnel has malfunctioned due to consecutive rainy days and fog, affecting safety of passage through the tunnel. The tunnel will be closed starting today to prevent an accident, and Kinmen National Park Headquarters has called the contractor for emergency repair. The tunnel is scheduled to be reopened on 2014/5/22. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
