Beware of Falling Rocks and Thunder When Climbing Mountains in the Plum Rain Season

May and June is the plum rain season in Taiwan. It rained in over half of the days in May 2014 and some roads in the mountain area collapsed. There were also people trapped from storm surge. Shei-Pa National Park Headquarters reminds visitors to pay attention to the weather when engaging in outdoor activity, and to avoid mountain areas and waters if there is a chance of torrential rain or rain storm, so as to ensure their safety.
