After two weeks (2014/6/6-6/20) of voting in the second stage of the naming activity for Kinmen’s baby otter brothers, Big Jin (older brother) and Small Jin (younger brother) received the highest number of votes with 1,144 votes (33.98%), becoming the formal names for the otter brothers. Big Jin and Small Jin were also appointed as Kinmen’s conservation ambassadors, calling on the public to care for European otters, and allow Kinmen’s otter population to survive and reproduce in the natural environment.
