To encourage the public tojointly maintain the cleanness and facilities of mountain trails within thepark area, as well as assist with environmental education activities, SheiPa National Park Headquarters began organizing mountain trail adoption activitiessince 1998, including trails and facilities of “Syue Mountain East Main Peak Trail,”“Wuling Quadruple Mountain Trails,” “Daxiaojian Trail,” “Zhihjiayang Trail”and “Daba North Peak Trail,” and has gained the support of many non-government organizations and enterprises. Director-General Li Chiu-Fang of SheiPa National Park Headquarters indicated that she hoped related activities willcreate a trend for public participation in ecological conservation and care forthe environment.
