Baiyang Trail Shuilian Cave Safety Promotion
Baiyang Trail near Tianxiang in Taroko National Park was originally a route built by Taiwan Power Company for engineering purposes and is now a famous scenic spot. Shuilian Cave, located at 2.1 km of the trail, is not off limits to visitors, but the strata in the tunnel might fall due to strong erosion by spring water, so visitors should beware of their surrounding environment when entering Shuilian Cave. In addition, there is a small path along the mountain wall in the tunnel, the path is slippery and the wall is uneven, so visitors must bring a flashlight when entering the cave to prevent hitting anything or falling. Also, be careful of your own and others’ safety in the cave, to not use a tripod to take pictures in the tunnel to prevent blocking others.
