Taroko National Park Headquarters continues to hold “A Date with Tianxiang” and invites you to explore the beauty of the Central Cross-island Highway
Tianxiang is located at the east section of the Central Cross-island Highway, and is roughly 19 km from Taroko. It is famous for its rich and diverse natural and cultural resources, and has attracted tourists from Taiwan and around the world. The area has a vast hinterland, hotels, camp ground, restaurants, bus stop, parking lot, and post office, making it an excellent location for tourists to gain an in-depth experience of a national park. To provide tourists with better services and more in-depth experience, Taroko National Park Headquarters collaborated with the Tianxian Youth Activity Center in organizing 17 batches of the “Date with Tianxian” lecture series in 2014. Events this year will be held on a monthly basis starting in March. Tianxian and its nearby green water confluence area offers diverse camping options. Taroko National Park Headquarters hopes visitors planning on staying in the area this year will not miss the spectacular speakers that will be visiting there. Speakers will be giving speeches in the lobby of Tianxian Youth Activity Center at 19:30-21:30 on the second Saturday of each month from March to December 2015. Prior registration is not required and no expenses will be charged. Visitors and residents are encouraged to attend.
