The Week of National Parks 2015 creative tours series. Spend a night at a tribe at Xuejian and explore: an ecotour at the crown of a 21-meter tree.

Shei-Pa National Park is holding “Spend a night at a tribe at Xuejian and explore: an ecotour at the crown of a 21-meter tree” so that people who love the outdoors may, under the guide of professionals, experience more about the history and nature of the national park, take their experience home, and become active advocates for the environment. As part of the Week of National Parks 2015 creative tours series. “Spend a night at a tribe at Xuejian and explore: an ecotour at the crown of a 21-meter tree” will be offered three times beginning on June 25, 2015. In this tour, participants will get to know the Xuejian rest area, Atayal culture, and the forest. They will learn tree-climbing techniques, get to the crowns of trees, observe the vines and their habitat at that height, and absorb the wonder of how things live in nature. Participants will witness a wedding of the Atayal people, watch their dances, feast on their food, and spend a night at a B&B in the tribe. Each of the three sessions is for two days, up to 20 people in each session. This is a rare chance and the space is limited. We look forward to your participation.
