Kenting National Park Headquarters, the 63rd Brigade, Southern Coastal Patrol Office, Coast Guard Administration, and Pingtung District Prosecutors Office co-organized a beach cleaning event at the beach of Kenting National Park together with agencies and organizations in Hengchun on September 12th, 2015, a time between fall and winter, to promote environmental protection and maintain a clean environment of sea areas. Most of the trash cleaned during the event was plastic waste, disposable tableware, clothes, and tissues, showing that visitors are still in the habit of throwing away trash and daily commodities at will. Co-organizers thanked all organizations and participants, and called on the public to show their national literacy and public morality, to show concern for the environment and refrain from littering, so that the coasts can be restored to their beautiful appearance and protect marine ecology.
