Unified entry permission application system for three high mountain national parks launched on November 25th, 2015
The Construction and Planning Agency commissioned the GIS Research Center, Feng Chia University to establish the “Online Application for Entry Permission to Taiwan’s National Parks”, which integrates the online application system of three high mountain national parks, namely Yushan National Park, Taroko National Park, and Shei-Pa National Park, providing a single portal for people to apply for entry permission. The system has a unified user interface, the same application procedures, and common information of the three national parks, including entry notices, status of mountain climbing routes, lodgings and beds, and mountain climbing information. There is also a mobile edition and notices sent via text message and e-mail. The integrated system will be launched on November 25th, 2015. Taroko National Park Headquarters reminds mountain climbers that application for entry to Yushan, Taroko and Shei-Pa national parks can be made on this common platform at http://npm.cpami.gov.tw/index.aspx.
