Yangmingshan National Park has arranged a series of lectures to enable citizens to learn more about local culture and history. This series will guide participants through time and indulge in the historical memory of Yangmingshan. It includes 18 lectures that cover stories about Chisingshan and Datun Mountain. In addition, historical tales about the site of Fish Road Historical Trail, the rise and fall of the local sulfur mining industry, and incidents throughout the area during the Japanese reign will also be revealed in detail.

The lecture series will be held at Yangmingshan Headquarters Visitor Center and Yangmingshuwu from April 6 to August 10, 2016. Lectures will be given by Mr. Lu Li Chang , a senior staff member at Yangmingshan National Park. Mr. Lu has more than 30 years of experience in fieldwork and interpretation and education, and has vast knowledge regarding the culture and history of the area. This is a great opportunity not to be missed by those interested in the history of Yangmingshan!
