With our appointment, the book was completed over a time span of 2 years by Professor Wang, Wei-Lung’s team at National Changhua University of Education. They conducted a seaweeds type and environment investigation in Dongsha Marine sea area and published valuable researched data, including micro-biological technology on determination of 55 new types in Dongsha

The photo collection not only introduces the general knowledge, such as the type, life style, environment and allocation of seaweeds, but also gives detailed descriptions on the characteristics for 122 types of seaweeds like blue-green algae、red algae、brown algae and green algae. Lastly, it chooses 3 species, Caulerpa、Padina and Lobophora, which have the easily confusing characteristics to show the family relation matrix for each species for reference of researchers.
