The ocean territory takes up over half of the region of Kenting National Park. Most of the visitors came to Kenting to participate in aquatic activities. During the summer every year, the beaches and intertidal zones are crowded with visitors, making environment cleaning a major task and challenge in the environmental preservation of the national park.

Kenting National Park Headquarter, Coastal Guard Team 63 of Southern Coastal Guard Office, Pingtung District Prosecutors Office, and other organizations and groups of Hengchun region plans to hold beach cleaning events at beaches and ocean territories with the administration of Kenting National Park during early autumn.

The beach cleaning event will take place on 9:00 am of September 24th, 2016. The locations of cleaning include Houbihu and its outlet, Houwan, Baisha, Nanwan, Dawan, Xiaowan, Chuanfanshih, Fishing Village Park and Fongchuesha. 450 spaces are available for application and the time of application ends at 17:00 of September 16th.
