Sharing the heavenly voice of 2016 Taroko Music Festival

2016 Taroko Music Festival began at Taroko Plateau. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Taroko National Park at the same time, the festival was entitled “Original Sound of Gorge and Safeguarding Mountains”

Based on bamboo instruments and together with the traditional Amis nose flute, the Amis Kakeng Musical Group presented the characteristics of Amis music. Amis singer Suming Rupi sang a number of creative songs and presented “Aka Pisawad” specifically to conservators who love so much this primitive forest.

Under the direction of Pitayru Ukah, Ketusan Music Studio gave a singing and dancing performance in the accompaniment of traditional Truku musical instruments.

Cellist and composer Tsung-pei Fan and his orchestra presented Song of Tafalong, Flying Squirrel Creek by Matthew Lien, and Forest Rhapsody. At the end of the concert, all artists presented the “Beautiful Taroko” to bring an end to the 2016 Taroko Music Festival.
