“Shei-Pa Photography College in Southern Three Villages of liyung Peynux” Photography Achievement Exhibition
The “Shei-Pa Photography College in Three Southern Villages of liyung Peynux” training activity launched by Shei-Pa National Park Headquarters this year ended smoothly. A total of 50 photographic works completed at the forum are displayed from now on at the Shei-Pa National Park Visitor Center to share the beauty of Atayal indigenous communities with the public.
The course was held in October in three southern villages of liyung Peynux in Taian Township, Miaoli County. Each village sent 20 indigenous students to the course. Locations of outdoor photography training included Maypuwal, Malapang, Mapihaw, and Maylubung communities. Students’ serious learning attitude won the instructor’s appreciation. Through the lens, students captured each corner of these tribal communities and kept memories for these tribes to unconsciously centralize their identification with and cohesion of their own tribal origins and motivate them to eagerly promote and share the tradition, culture, and cultural landscapes of indigenous tribes to and with visitors.
